Partner Organisation

JOSSOAL (Jovens de Soalpo – Soalpo is the name of a suburban neighborhood of Chimoio) is a Mozambican non-governmental organization created in 2005 on the initiative of the workers of the local company TextAfrica. Its goal is to overcome oppression and gender inequality and to improve the living conditions of women, girls and children in the province of Manica. JOSSOAL has already run projects in different social areas – the most important are education, health and governance.

Assignment Goal

Even though JOSSOAL is well recognized for its highly committed and motivated staff as well as for its strong associative culture, they identified the need to strengthen its internal systems, methodologies and procedures. This assignment will strengthen coordination, monitoring and evaluation procedures as well as facilitate capitalization of their methods and good practices.
